I look forward to traveling throughout the state to rodeos, parades and events promoting the Caldwell Night Rodeo to the best of my abilities. I am so thrilled to represent the rodeo “Where The Cowboys are the Stars” and promote the wonderful Caldwell community this year. These organizations further sparked my passion for promoting agriculture and lead to my desire to become a rodeo queen. I was also involved in FFA as a participant in the Heifer Replacement Program, competitor in horse judging, and treasurer for the Homedale Chapter. Growing up, I showed horses for 11 years in my 4-H group, where I served as past president. My favorite part about branding was being able to help younger kids understand the importance of producing healthy, high-quality cattle. My love for agriculture started at a young age on the ranch during our annual cattle brandings. Go Vandals! I am currently working at the United States Department of Agriculture in the Farm Service Agency consulting with farmers and ranchers about different agricultural programs. I am also a recent graduate and proud alumna of the University of Idaho, where I attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Economics with a Minor in Marketing. Hello everyone! My name is Samantha Woods, your 2020-21 Miss Caldwell Night Rodeo Queen! I am the 23-year-old daughter of Stacy and Kenny Woods of Homedale, Idaho. I am looking forward to seeing even more places in 2021! None of this would have been possible if it weren’t for the Caldwell Night Rodeo Board, and my sponsors who worked tirelessly to keep me on the road. In my personal life, I continued to follow my passion for agriculture by working various positions within the agriculture industry, helping out on the family ranch, and volunteering my time with local 4-H and FFA chapters. I met so many amazing people – from contestants, to fans, to volunteers who all truly made an impact on my life. Some of last year’s events included participating in the select rodeos that occurred, speaking at community events, decorating my horse and I for various parades, attending fundraisers, and even judging different western contests. Although COVID-19 made last year a difficult one, I was still able to travel all over the state and maintain a busy schedule.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to represent the rodeo “Where the Cowboys are the Stars” for two consecutive years. Hello again! Although 2020 was a wild ride, I am beyond excited to see all of the Rowdies and Civies this year at the 2021 Caldwell Night Rodeo! For those of you who don’t know me I am Samantha Woods, your 2020-2021 Miss Caldwell Night Rodeo Queen. Ashley is excited to represent the Caldwell Night Rodeo and to share their spirit of giving back to our local community.
